Not Your Typical Vacation

If you’re looking for a camping experience unlike any other, look no further. Thousand Trails of Morgan Hill is the place to be. With 66 acres of land and a great campground, this members-only site is RV paradise. There’s plenty of room to pitch a tent or hook up an RV. If you don’t have one of your own, why not rent one? For something a little different, there are three special mini-cabins for rent. Each one has loft space perfect for kids to “camp out,” an adorable little kitchenette, and a dining area complete with a TV and DVD player.
Another great place for kids, adults, and everyone in between is the 177,000 gallon pool! No running, but plenty of fun. Not interested in getting splashed? No problem. Head up to the lodge where you can make use of the pool table or free WIFI in the adult lodge. The family lodge, just adjacent, has a television and a piano as well.
Anyone in the mood for a snack or just wanting a little something for a souvenir can make their way down to the general store. Or if you’d like a real meal, Friday nights famous spaghetti dinner is served to Thousand Trails’ members at the dining hall right next to the pool. A church service is also held here on Sunday mornings. After a messy dinner or long swim you might also like to visit one of the five bathhouses on site.
Saturday night entertainment at the basketball court happens through mid September. Members have enjoyed the classic band The Corvairs, Dancing DJ, and marionette puppet performers, as well as Donald Prieto, the Elvis impersonator out of our very own Gilroy, just to name a few. Members can also use tennis courts and horseshoe pits at any time for more fun.
All these features are yours for one annual membership fee. Call Eddy at (408) 779-6396 to hear his fun and authentic Texas drawl or visit him at 12895 Uvas Rd, Morgan Hill. You can’t miss him in his big white cowboy hat.
